All Creatures Offers Pet Fall Festival to Celebrate 30 Years

To celebrate 30 years, All Creatures Veterinary Center will hold a Pet Fall Festival, Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 1-4 pm. Pet friendly fun will include photos with your pet in a fall display, a pet costume contest, games for the kids, food, etc. and all for a good cause.

CARROLLTON, Texas - Oct. 15, 2016 - PRLog -- Does your pet like to dress up? Is your pet's favorite outfit just like your favorite outfit? Does your pet have a trick the world needs to see? Then All Creatures Veterinary Center's Pet Fall Festival may be your ticket to fame and fortune, or at least a nice gift basket.

As part of its 30th anniversary celebration year, All Creatures is throwing a fall festival for the whole family including your pet. Among the activities will be photos with your pet in a fall display, a pet costume contest and a pet trick contest. There will also be games for the kids like "Kitty Litter Treasure Hunt", balloons and food from Mr. Jim's Pizza and Tiff's Treats. All the activities are free - $2, and all proceeds will benefit the Lost Paws Rescue of Texas and All Creatures' Caring for Pets Fund. Carrollton Veterinarian Begins Annual Pet Food Drive with a Difference

~Nov 1, 2014; Carrollton, Texas. ~ Your Thanksgiving food donation can do double duty at All Creatures Veterinary Center.  It will help people through Metrocrest Social Services and shelter dogs and cats at Operation Kindness.


All Creatures Veterinary Center in Carrollton, Texas will begin its annual Thanksgiving Food Exchange food drive on November 1, 2014. The annual exchange allows clients of All Creatures and local residents to help people and pets by matching food donations for a local food pantry with a pet food donation to a no-kill shelter.

The theme for this year's food drive is "All Creatures' Thanksgiving Food Exchange - You Help People, We Help Pets".

All Creatures invites its clients and local residents to bring in human food or pet food donations (many pantry clients have pets) for Metrocrest Social Services. The cans of corn, jars of peanut butter and boxes of cereal are weighed on the pet scale in the All Creatures lobby and a chart is updated showing the weight of all the donations.

All of the food donations are taken to Metrocrest Social Services at the end of November. Then in December, All Creatures; with the help of the pet food makers; will donate an equal amount (in pounds*) of Hill’s®, Royal Canin, and Purina Pet Food to Operation Kindness – the no-kill animal shelter in Carrollton, Texas.

The goal of the Food Exchange this year is to collect and donate 1000 lbs. of food. So even if you aren’t one of our clients, feel free to bring your food donations to All Creatures Veterinary Center at 6153 Windhaven Pkwy, Plano 75093. (NW corner of Windhaven and Communications Pkwy). Your human food donation will do double duty by helping the cats and dogs at Operation Kindness. www.operationkindness.org
