A Furry Christmas Wish at All Creatures

The Furry Christmas Wish

We are bringing back a fun holiday activity from a few years ago - the Furry Christmas Wish.  Don't you think if your pet could grasp the idea of Christmas gifts, they would be completely on board and have lots of wishes.
We do.   So take a good look at your pet, think about their personality -- or petsonality and imagine what would be on their gift list - then tell us.

If you pet could have 1 wish this Christmas what would it be?  Would they wish for a backyard full of bones?  All the treats they can eat? To not have other pet friends in the house?  We want to know!  Write down your pet’s name and wish on one of our special ornaments and hang it on our tree.

On December 24th, we will pick 1 dog wish and 1 cat wish to win a special Christmas gift from all of us at All Creatures.

Thanksgiving Food Exchange

All Creatures Veterinary Center Offers to Double Your Food Drive Donation.

The Thanksgiving Food Exchange is a food drive with a twist we hold each November at All Creatures Veterinary Center (allcreatuesonline.com).  We collect human or pet food from our wonderful clients and friends.  The cans of corn, jars of peanut butter and boxes of cereal are weighed on the pet scale in our lobby and we keep a chart showing the weight of all the donations.
We give all the donated food to Metrocrest Social Services in Carrollton (metrocrestservices.org). And All Creatures matches the weight of our clients donations with Hill’s® Pet Diets and Royal Canin Pet Food and sends that to Metrocrest too.
Last year our clients donated 400 lbs. of food and All Creatures, along with our pet food partners - Hill’s® and Royal Canin® donated 400 lbs of pet food.  Metrocrest Social Services has a pet food bank because many of the families they serve have pets.  And those pets need a good nutritious meal, too.

We are going to continue the Food Exchange this year and our goal is to collect and donate 1000 lbs. of food.  So even if you aren’t one of our clients, feel free to bring your human food donations by our office at 2525 E Hebron Pkwy. at Marsh Ridge Rd.
A list of commonly needed items from Metrocrest’s web site: Peanut butter, Canned fruit, Mac & Cheese, Flavored rice & pasta “helpers” & “ronis”, Breakfast Cereal.
