DETAILS

Pet Portrait Day, Saturday, Oct. 21; 10am to 1pm.
1 complimentary professional digital pet portrait; only 30 appointments
$10 Sitting fee to reserve your time, and fee is returned to you when you keep your appointment.

2) Client Appreciation Month: 10% off Pet Dental Cleaning Procedures

Although cavities are less common in pets than in people, pets can have many of the same dental problems that people can develop:
  • broken teeth and roots
  • periodontal disease
  • abscesses or infected teeth
  • cysts or tumors in the mouth
  • malocclusion, or misalignment of the teeth and bite
Periodontal disease is the most common dental condition in dogs and cats – by the time your pet is 3 years old, he or she will very likely have some early evidence of periodontal disease, which will worsen as your pet grows older if effective preventive measures aren’t taken. Early detection and treatment are critical, so if you do not know the condition of your pet’s teeth, we are happy to exam them for you at no charge.   If your pet does need to have its teeth cleaned, we will take 10% Off those procedures booked during October.
You can see more about our dental procedures watching this video: https://youtu.be/j6gNkXpRZkE   (go to minute 1:50 to see the actual cleaning of a pets teeth).
Call us at 972-307-7400 or email us here to make an appointment or ask a question.

Final Two Days of Oravet Dental Month and 10% Off

Final Two Days of Oravet Dental Month
Just two days left to schedule your pet’s dental procedure and receive 10% off.  Even if the service is performed at a later date, as long as it is scheduled before the close of business on 9/30, the discount will apply.

Why We Like This New Dental Chew for Dogs
The best way to keep your pet’s teeth clean is with some routine that you can do on a regular schedule.  Of course, brushing your pets teeth is the best, but if they won’t tolerate that or your busy life makes it not the best option, a chew is an great solution.
If the Oravet chews are used daily, they work to clean and then protect your pet’s teeth.
Plaque and calculus are very common problems in dogs. Plaque forms when bacteria attach to teeth, and over time, this plaque hardens to form calculus (tartar). The accumulation of plaque and calculus can lead to bad breath and other problems.

The dual-action approach of OraVet Chews doesn’t just clean teeth and freshen breath. It creates a barrier to help protect against plaque, calculus, and bad breath.
The chewing action works to loosen and dislodge plaque to help it break away from teeth.
Then OraVet Chews form a barrier to help protect against the bacteria that leads to plaque and calculus buildup for a cleaner mouth and fresher breath. Isn’t advanced science wonderful?

Signs of Oral and Dental Diseases in Dogs and Cats

Oravet Dental Month: Signs of oral and dental diseases in dogs and cats
What should you look for to know if you pet has dental problems?  To begin with, perform routine mouth inspections of your pet.  The best way is to look at your pet’s mouth during fun or casual time with them.  Get a good idea of what normal looks like for your pet’s mouth, then you will be able to see problems when they appear.  Look for these issues:
[Click here for a full instructions on How to Exam Your Pet's Teeth and Gums]
- Bad breath.
- Loose teeth or teeth that are discolored or covered in tartar.
- Your pet shies away from you when you touch the mouth area.
- Drooling or dropping food from the mouth.
- Bleeding from the mouth.
- Puffiness on one side of your pet’s face
- Loss of appetite or loss of weight (this can be a symptom of other problems as well so never ignore these issues in your pet).
If you think your pet needs dental care, we will exam you pet’s teeth at no charge during September as part of our Oravet Dental Month.  DENTAL DISCOUNT  -   For the month of September, we continue our 30th anniversary celebration with 10% off all pet dental procedures (canine or feline).  Offer ends September 30, 2016.
